Welcome to
Teen Mental Health Society!

Teen Mental Health Society started as a small Zoom-based organization in September of 2020 in Mumbai, India amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It served as a virtual platform for teenagers and young adults to come together every Sunday to find tiny pieces of hope, a sense of community,  and resilience during the long, haunting months of lockdown.

“Aayushi coming to my school has changed my life. She has truly made me a better person and I’m so glad to know that she does this for so many people in the world. This world needs her and it’s such a beautiful and bright place with you in it. Thank you for being there for me and simply existing. You’re one of a kind”

"Being a part of TMHS has been a memorable experience and has already made such a strong impact. Each guest speaker shares their mental health-related stories and provides amazing advice. Joining TMHS has provided me with the opportunity to network with a great community of mental health professionals and youth advocates. I am so excited to see where this project will go!"

Teachers' Mental Well-being Toolkit

Half of all mental health conditions start by 14 years of age, but most cases go undetected and untreated.

In response to the escalating demand for comprehensive mental health support within the Indian education system, we present the Teacher's Mental Well-being Toolkit. This program is thoughtfully curated to empower educators with the expertise, skills, and resources required to prioritize mental health for both themselves and their students. By fostering an inclusive school environment, we intend to cultivate well-being, academic excellence, and resilience.

"I've been struggling alone with my mental health. I wish someone would notice"

"I wish I had the tools to better understand and support my students' mental health."
